- To organize and prioritize data from highest to lowest.
When to Use It
- When trying to prioritize activities or focus for a team or for an organization.
- The team or organization should focus on the vital few (those items with the highest levels) and not the trivial many (those with the lowest levels).
- If you have more than 6 categories, group all of the small ones together at the end in an “Other” category.
