What It Is Used For
- To document problem-solving team meetings and action items.
When to Use It
- Use a worksheet for every team meeting.
- Participants should refer to the meeting Minutes and Planner in between meetings to make sure they are completing action items they have committed to working on.
- Rather than writing long, formal minutes of meetings, use a simple, informal format that can be used to document the results of meetings right during the meeting. To make meetings even more effective, take time at the end of the meeting for a group review of the minutes to ensure all agree. If a subsequent meeting is needed, set the agenda for the next meeting as the last task of this meeting.
