About This Course
ISO9001 is an international standard that defines the requirements for a Quality Management System (or QMS).
A QMS represents a structured system of business processes that enable an organization to achieve its quality objectives. It includes all activities used to direct, control, and coordinate quality. These activities include:
- Formulating a quality policy
- Setting quality objectives
- Describing the practices and techniques to be used for the planning, control, assurance and improvement of quality.
ISO9001 is the most widely recognized QMS standard worldwide.
In this training program, Overview of ISO9001 QMS, participants will learn about the importance of a QMS, its development process, and how it can lead to improved performance while supporting sustainable quality initiatives for any organization. The course provides a basic understanding of the standard and introduces learners to their role in supporting and meeting the commitments made in the Quality Management System.
This course provides a solid introduction to the concept and components of a Quality Management System for learners who work in any industry. However, we have introductory QMS standards courses specifically for people who work in the automotive or AS&D industries, in which case, this course would not be necessary.
