About This Course
AS9100D is the most current standard for a Quality Management System or QMS that was developed by and for the Aviation, Space and Defense (AS&D) industries.
A QMS represents a structured system of business processes that enable an organization to achieve its quality objectives. It includes all activities used to direct, control, and coordinate quality. These activities include:
- Formulating a quality policy
- Setting quality objectives
- Describing the practices and techniques to be used for the planning, control, assurance and improvement of quality.
The Introduction to AS9100D training is ideal for providing employees at all levels of the organization with a basic understanding of the standard and their role in supporting and meeting the commitments made in the Quality Management System.
