Storage Proximity

Considerations for determining storage locations during the Set in Order phase:

If the item is used several times a day:

• Store “on the equipment” if possible.

If the item is used at least once every two days:

• Store in the work area.

If the item is used about once a week:

• Store close to the work area.

If the item is used once a month:

• Store somewhere accessible in the facility.
